to your comment to WhimsiCat: I don't think Asahi is that kind of person it has been stated that she is an Idi- Airhead, she is an Airhead while dangerous she isn't by nature malicious just oblivious to things around her

To my Comment: yeah I get the sense that when all thing are revealed everyone starts to question a lot of very serious things or at the very least start using magic or items that dispell magic that affects one's reason

@WhimsiCat i dont think Asahi would be that kind of person to let go of something good once she has it, especially since she's been getting what she wants since being a young child, so if anything she'll try anything to keep her status of being priestess no matter what, its still soon but i like the premise of where this is going

@Tych maybe once the charm magic wears out it wont be a thing like "oh i was manipulated" maybe more like why was i attracted to her, like a sort of hypnotism that once you realize you question yourself on your actions

@OrangeAbundis: Or, Asahi herself is unconsciously using it, and she's attracted to Ruri because of that comfortable wavelength.
But then by being near Ruri who's not controlling her magic power and leaking out, it ends up empowering Asahi's own natural Charm.

While Ruri's gone now, this is also a world that allow uses of magic, so maybe Asahi's charm will not be affected too much.
Like, from 'everybody loves her' to 'everyone who meets her love her' sort of level.

My guess is the problem will only start when Asahi's natural hair color finally gets revealed, and Asahi might mention 'oh yeah, Ruri's the one with natural blond hair' (i.e. the hair that signifies the Priestess)

So in that way, by never showing herself to the humans, they're screwed and Ruri's got her own revenge without having to do anything.

Don't go too far down rabbit holes based solely on theories, guys. It's entirely possible that Asahi just has a natural charm magic that works on her own power, and that she uses unconsciously.

that actually might track also it still does raise the question what is going to happen now that her "battery" is gone will her Charm magic weaken so much so that someone notices or will they still be oblivious to the fact that they are all being manipulated?

The fact remains that Asahi's tontago is annoying.

I had totally forgotten about this lol now that she further away from her the charms affect would slowly go away hopefully she's not tethered to her though in some way like a leach drawn by the smell of blood(or magic in this case)

I wonder what is going to happen to her now that her battery is gone?

Maybe Asahi has been using the MC as a catalyst or idk whats a good analogy, like philosophers stone to conjure her own magic
